NEW ORLEANS -- BYU Cougar fans officially outnumber fans of any other school playing in New Orleans this week as part of the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
BYU's senior guard Jimmer Fredette leads the third-seeded Cougars against second-seeded Florida this evening. New Orleans probably expected some BYU fans to make the journey, but the Cougars are showing up in droves.
The BYU Ticket Office sold 800 tickets to tonight's game. That's 300 more tickets sold than any other school playing in New Orleans, including Wisconsin, Butler and Florida.
It's hard to say how many BYU fans will show up because there are multiple places to buy tickets, including online and through the arena.
The game tips off at 5:27 p.m. You can listen to it on KSL Newsradio 102.7 FM/1160 AM.
