Martin, Tenn. --- Cori Chambers scored a career-high 29 points and Sherill Baker added 21 to lead the No. 17 Georgia women to an 81-47 win over Tennessee-Martin on Friday night.

Baker also made seven steals to tie Teresa Edwards' career record of 342 at Georgia, putting the two at No. 5 on the SEC all-time steals list.

"That's a record that has been there for a while," coach Andy Landers said. "It goes back to the mid-'80s and has stood the test of time. She anticipates so well and plays so hard. It's nice to see her get her own reward with that type of play."

Georgia (9-3) scored the game's first eight points and finished the first half on a 15-0 run --- the last 10 by Chambers --- for a 38-18 lead. Chambers, who personally outscored Tennessee-Martin 21-18 in the first half, made 6 of 8 3-pointers overall and had a team-high nine rebounds. The 21 first-half points were three more than Chambers' previous career high.

Tasha Humphrey failed to reach double figures for only the third time in 44 games played at Georgia. Humphrey sat much of the first half after picking up two fouls less than six minutes into the game. She picked up two more qucik fouls in the second half and finished with five points. No other Lady Bulldogs scored in double digits.

Andreika Jackson, from Southwest DeKalb High, scored 18 points to lead Tennessee Martin (3-6).

Georgia outrebounded the Lady Skyhawks 37-29 and scored 21 points off 18 turnovers. Tennessee-Martin took advantage of Georgia's 22 fouls, especially in the second half when it made 11-of-16 from the line.
