LOS ANGELES, Dec 15, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- The mega-popular comic book "The Darkness" is being made into a feature film and video game, it was reported Thursday.
The book published by Top Cow Productions has generated more than $25 million in sales, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Platinum Studios and Blue Star Pictures have signed Danny and Oxide Pang to direct the big-screen adaptation of "The Darkness," which was created by Marc Silvestri, Garth Ennis and David Wohl.
"The Darkness" will also get the video game treatment from Starbreeze Studios along with "Ghost Rider," another comic book being turned into a feature film by Sony Pictures, The Reporter said.
