PETER, PAUL & MARY star MARY TRAVERS will celebrate the news she's beating leukaemia by joining her bandmates for a Christmas reunion concert in New York City.
Travers feared she would have to give up performing live when she was told an earlier case of leukaemia had returned late last year (04), but now she's on her way to making a full recovery.
The folk star received a bone marrow transplant in April (05) and recent tests have shown no leukaemia cells.
She'll join her folk bandmates for a show on 9 December (05) at Carnegie. (KL/RS/GES)
