Dance impresario FATBOY SLIM is collaborating with TALKING HEADS star DAVID BYRNE to create a groundbreaking disco musical about IMELDA MARCOS, the wife of deposed Filipino dictator FERDINAND MARCOS.
The PRAISE YOU hitmaker, real name NORMAN COOK, is keen to honour the shoe-obsessed icon, who famously adored New York's decadent club STUDIO 54 and even had a dance floor in her home.
The show is titled HERE LIES LOVE and is set to premiere at the Adelaide Festival in Australia next year before transferring to the UK. (ZJS/WNTSU/SC)
