Queen Latifah to produced 'Kidnapped'

LOS ANGELES, Oct 10, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Singer and actress Queen Latifah is producing the film "Kidnapped," a family comedy starring James "Lil' J.J." Lewis, it was reported Monday.

The film penned by J. Alexander Smith is about three children who are kidnapped after their parents win the lottery, AllHipHop.com reported.

The music video team of Ryan Smith and Frank Borin will direct the film, which is scheduled to go into production shortly.

Among films previously produced by Flavor Unit are "Bringing Down the House," "Beauty Shop," "Bad Girls" and "The Cookout."
