LONDON, Oct 4, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Dannii Mingoue says her older sister Kylie's breast cancer treatment is "stressful" but the Australian pop star is coping "very gracefully."
Dannii told Britain's GMTV the family had been going through "a tough time" since the 37-year-old singer was diagnosed earlier this year, the BBC reported Tuesday.
Kylie was doing "really good" since she had had a lump removed from her breast in May, Dannii said, but she refused to confirm her sister was receiving medical care in France.
"Honoring her privacy, I wouldn't want to go into any details of anything," she said. " ... Obviously, she is getting the best treatment and wishes everyone else can have the same."
Whatever kind of medical care she's getting, it's not easy, her sister said.
"It's quite a stressful treatment," she said. "She is handling it very gracefully."
