One of the worst feelings in the world comes from being involved in an automobile accident. Even if it is just a fender bender, you get that sinking feeling in your stomach and think, "Oh no! How much is this going to cost me and how long am I going to be without my car?"
Ryan Gee, owner of Bountiful Collision Repair in Bountiful, tries to make this process as seamless as possible. Not only are repairs completed as expeditiously as possible but Ryan's team also strives to make a car look even better than it did before the damage.
Bountiful Collision Repair offers all types of repair on all kinds of vehicles, from cars to trucks to RVs. This includes auto body and paint, suspension and mechanic work and air conditioning repair. Much of the company's business comes from insurance referrals for body repair and paint.
Traditionally, business peaks during the winter when snow and ice create treacherous driving conditions. However, the shop also stays quite busy in the summer months. Ryan says his business hasn't been immune from the effects of the economy, but he has done his best to provide consistent, high-quality repair work to continue attracting new clients.
Prior to starting his shop, Ryan worked for another auto body shop in Salt Lake City for six years. He also managed insurance estimators for 12 years. Eventually, he started seeing areas where service and quality of work could be improved so he set out make positive changes. He procured a location in Bountiful and opened Bountiful Collision Repair in June 2002.
Ryan hopes to see Bountiful Collision Repair continue growing without losing the personal touches and long-term friendships with clients that have distinguished it thus far.
