(Baghdad, Iraq-AP) -- The military is reporting more attacks on U-S forces in Iraq.
A bomb went off near a U-S military convoy west of Baghdad, injuring three soldiers. Insurgents ambushed a U-S foot patrol in northern Iraq, injuring another American soldier.
Also, two mortar shells went off near the coalition headquarters in a southern Iraqi city. No damage or injuries reported.
The injured soldiers have been evacuated to combat support hospitals for treatment.
Meantime, witnesses say gunmen wounded a coalition-appointed Iraqi lawyer and his son in northern Iraq. Hospital sources say the lawyer -- who's the general prosecutor of a court established to fight corruption -- is in critical condition. They indicate his son will be O-K.
