SUU helicopter pilot and student hospitalized after crashing at Cedar City Regional Airport

SALT LAKE CITY — A Southern Utah University helicopter pilot and a student were taken to the hospital on Saturday after an "accident" occurred at the Cedar City Regional Airport. The Cedar City Police Department said the student and pilot had non-life threatening injuries. "The aircraft involved sustained significant damage, however, no other property was damaged," the police department said. "The FAA and NTSB will continue the investigation into this incident."
