10 food deals to check out this Labor Day weekend

SALT LAKE CITY — As Americans prepare to celebrate Labor Day this weekend, a wide variety of fast-food and restaurant chains are offering special deals and discounts for the holiday.

These deals include discounts on delivery items, toys that come with meals, and discounts on some fan-favorite restaurants. Chains such as The Cheesecake Factory, Del Taco, Little Caesars and Firehouse Subs are some of those offering discounts this weekend.

As you celebrate the end of summer this weekend, be sure to take advantage of these food deals.

7-Eleven

Dates: Sept. 4-14

Deal: 7 Rewards and Speedy Rewards members will be able to purchase select snacks and drinks for just $2 each. The applicable items include single-serving Cheetos and Doritos, Kettle Brand chips, 16-ounce Bang and Reign energy drinks, and 19.2-ounce Liquid Death teas. The deal is available at 7-Eleven and Speedway stores.

The Cheesecake Factory

Dates: Through Sept. 7

Deal: Customers will receive a $10 Bonus eCard for every $50 in gift cards purchased online from The Cheesecake Factory. The Bonus eCards will be valid Sept. 8-30.

Cracker Barrel

Dates: Through Sept. 7

Deal: Customers who purchase an adult entree and kids meal at Cracker Barrel will receive one of six B'loonie Petz collectible toys, or $5 off a retail toy. The offer is only valid for dine-in customers.

Del Taco

Dates: Sept. 5-7

Deal: Del Yeah! Rewards members will be eligible for 20% off a purchase of $10 or more when ordering online or in the Del Taco app, per LiveNowFox.

Firehouse Subs

Date: Sept. 4-7

Deal: Customers can buy any sub at Firehouse Subs and receive a second sub (of equal or lesser value) for $1, per LiveNowFox.

Grubhub

Date: Sept. 4-7

Deal: Grubhub has multiple deals for Labor Day weekend, including free delivery and no service fees on restaurant orders of $50 or more. Here's a look at the other deals:

• Wendy's: Free Baconator on orders $20 and up, Sept. 4 only
• Popeyes: Free Chicken Sandwich on orders $15 and up, Sept. 4 only
• McDonald's: BOGO six-piece McNuggets on orders $15 and up, Sept. 4-7; free breakfast sandwich on orders $15 and up, Sept. 4-7
• Taco Bell: Free Nachos Bell Grande on orders $22 and up, Sept. 4-7

Dates: Sept. 4-7

Deal: JJ Rewards members will be able to use the code TOASTED to receive a buy one, get one Toasted or Favorite 8-inch Sandwich, per LiveNowFox.

Krispy Kreme

Dates: Sept. 4-7

Deal: For Labor Day weekend, any customer who buys a dozen doughnuts or 16-count Minis can receive an Original Glazed dozen for $2. The deal is limited to two per guest in shop and drive-thru and limited to one per guest for online, pickup and delivery using the code "BOGO2."

Olive Garden

Date: Through Nov. 22

Deal: While not specifically for Labor Day weekend, Olive Garden's Never-Ending Pasta Bowl is returning for the fall. The deal includes all-you-can-eat pasta and unlimited soup or breadsticks starting at $14.99, per USA Today.
