(KSL News) Bail will NOT be reduced for a Weber County woman accused of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a non-profit foundation.
Lawyers for Denise Aughney argued her bail should be dropped from 445-thousand dollars to 50-thousand dollars because most of her assets have been frozen by the court. However, the judge disagreed and let the bail stand.
Aughney faces 57 felony counts of theft, money laundering and fraud. She will appear in court again in March.
