THE GREAT OUTDOORS — Imagine the shock you'd feel if, possibly, the first time you saw yourself was when you were all grown up.
That's the hilarious scenario a brief YouTube video captures. This moose is startled at its own sight, to say the least.
According to the video description, a hunter thought it would be funny to install a mirror in front of a camera in his favorite hunting spot.
It was a good call, too. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to witness the chaos that ensues when this moose creeps up to the mirror, sees itself and barnstorms away in confusion.
But can you really blame the moose? We humans are pretty self-aware early on, seeing ourselves in mirrors, camera lenses and photos from the start.
In the outdoors, however, there are fewer chances to peer at oneself, and, as the moose exemplifies, raised stakes and confusion in that moment.
"Now I may have to find a new hunting spot," the hunter muses about the moose's reaction to the whole ordeal. Most nature videos show off the beauty of the outdoors, but, every so often, they give us something to laugh about as well.
