SALT LAKE CITY — Hilary Duff returned to music late last year with the release of her singles "Mature," followed by "Roommates."
Following those releases, she returned to the stage in January for her "Small Rooms, Big Nerves," mini-tour, her first major concert series since her "Dignity Tour" in 2007-08. This current run includes stops in London, Toronto, New York and L.A. to celebrate her return to music, according to Rolling Stone.
On Tuesday, Duff posted a video to social media teasing upcoming news. The clip featured nostalgic audio of a line spoken by Jennifer Coolidge in the 2004 film "A Cinderella Story" and the date "2/12" stamped at the end.
If this is what dreams are made of, then something big has arrived: Duff is going on a world tour in support of her latest album, "Luck... or Something," which she announced in a separate video on social media.
Her first new album in more than a decade will be released on Feb. 20. Duff's last studio album, "Breathe In. Breathe Out," was released in 2015.
The world tour begins on June 22 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Duff will make several stops across the U.S., including a stop in Utah on July 17 at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater.
After the U.S. leg, the tour will head to the United Kingdom and Canada before wrapping up in Mexico City.
How are fans reacting?
Fans worldwide are eager to see the early 2000s pop star return to the stage in 2026. Many are already voicing concerns on social media regarding the "Ticketmaster war" expected when tickets go on sale.
What has Duff been up to the last 10 years?
While Duff has taken a break from music, the 38-year-old has pursued other endeavors, like starring in the series "Younger" and "How I Met Your Father." She has also focused on raising her four children with her husband, Matthew Koma.
