THE NEIGHBORHOOD – Is there anything worse than being cooped up inside while everyone else has fun outside? We can all probably relate to that feeling. For example, being sick as a kid during the summer was torture. You'd be sitting there on the couch, sipping ginger ale (even though you probably didn't even like ginger ale), while neighborhood kids laughed and shouted outside.
You'd peek through the blinds and it'd appear as if the entire world was frolicking in your neighborhood. There were bikes, big wheels, water balloons, trampolines, squirt guns, frisbees and all manner of fun.
That feeling of missing out would only subside when you got over your sickness, went outside and then realized that it was actually normal outside there. At times, it was even a little boring.
Anyhow, I thought of some of those moments when I saw this video.
This dog definitely has a bad case of FOMO. It desperately wants to see the world outside its enclosure and will stop at nothing to catch a glimpse.
What I want to know is how the dog is repeatedly popping up like that. Is it on a trampoline? A Pogo Ball? Or is it just jumping up on its own?
Whatever the source of its springiness, I'm impressed by the dedication of this dog. If we were all as serious about life as it is about watching the action outside its house, we'd get a lot more done.
