- Salt Lake City announced the 2025 Twilight Concert Series lineup.
- Concerts will be split between the Gallivan Center and Library Square.
SALT LAKE CITY — Some of the biggest names in indie music are slated to come to Utah's capital city this summer, but not everyone will play at the same venue.
Salt Lake City on Tuesday released the lineup for its 38th annual Twilight Concert Series, which features artists like Sierra Ferrell, Mt. Joy, Japanese Breakfast and Big Thief.
Half of the shows will take place at the Gallivan Center, which has been the event's main location since 2018, while the other half will be along 200 South between the Salt Lake City Library and Washington Square. Salt Lake City Arts Council and S&S Presents officials, who oversee the event, add that ticket sales at the Gallivan Center will be reduced this year "allowing more space for attendees" but that also means that those shows could sell out faster.
The 2025 will begin on July 12 with the Atlanta hip-hop duo EarthGang, who will be joined by JMSN and Bad Luck Brigade at the Gallivan Center. Ferrell, fresh off four Grammy wins for her 2024 album "Trail of Flowers," as well as recent features with Zach Bryan and Post Malone, will kickstart the Library Square schedule five days later.
Waxahatachee, Mt. Joy Japanese Breakfast and Big Thief close out the rest of the season between the two venues, bringing their own critically acclaimed work to Salt Lake City that have, combined, attracted over 14.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
- July 12: EarthGang with JMSN and Bad Luck Brigade (Gallivan Center)
- July 17: Sierra Ferrell with Sammy Brue and TBA (Library Square)
- Aug. 6: Waxahatchee with Foxwarren and Wilbere (Gallivan Center)
- Aug. 12: Mt. Joy with the Moss (Library Square)
- Sept. 5: Japanese Breakfast with Ginger Root and Tomper (Gallivan Center)
- Sept. 22: Big Thief with TBA (Library Square)
Season tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. A general admission season pass costs $75, plus fees and taxes, while VIP season passes are $275, plus fees. There's also a new option this year, allowing people to pay $40 plus fees and taxes for all three shows at Library Square.
Individual show tickets go on sale on Thursday. General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the show, plus service fees and taxes. VIP tickets range from $65 to $85 before fees and taxes.
