THE NEIGHBORHOOD — It seems like an annual event that someone dings my car door in a grocery store parking lot. Sometimes they leave a note, but they usually just flee the scene.
Which is why I could never own a car like a Porsche. I wouldn't dare park such a valuable vehicle at a store, theater or sporting event. The little scrapes and dents that accumulate on my minivan are annoying, but they'd be downright maddening if my car were worth six figures.
As this video shows, a Porsche isn't even necessarily safe in your driveway.
Why on earth is this Ecospeed truck driving around with a blade of death protruding from its rear bumper? There's no way that this Porsche was its only victim. I'm sure this driver rolled all around Belgium, scraping cars with reckless abandon.
Ouch. Those repairs will probably cost more than my entire minivan. Which is why I'll be sticking to my Sienna for the foreseeable future, thank you very much.
