TAYLORSVILLE — Police have released the name of the woman who was killed in a wrong-way collision in Taylorsville Saturday night.
Michelle Romero, 30, was killed after the car she was driving drifted into oncoming traffic and struck an oncoming SUV, Taylorsville police said in a statement Monday afternoon. The crash occurred about 10 p.m. at 2881 W. 4700 South.
Romero was ejected and pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle, a woman approximately age 40, suffered minor injuries. A child passenger in the SUV was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
