PRICE — One person died Sunday in a fatal collision between a train and a car in Price.

The collision occurred about 4:10 p.m. at 800 East and Nick Lane in Price, according to the Carbon County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the car was ejected in the crash and died. No other information about the driver was released pending notification of next of kin.

There were no passengers in the car and no one else was injured, the sheriff's office said.

Both the sheriff's office and Union Pacific are investigating the death.
