MOAB — A man was killed on Wednesday after a crash involving an RV and semitruck in Moab, police said.

About 5:34 p.m., a large Southwinds RV turned left out of the Kane Springs Hole 'N the Rock rest area on U.S. 191 going south. The RV turned in front of a Freightliner semitruck and was T-boned in the driver's side compartment, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

The RV driver, a 67-year-old man, died at the scene. His name has not yet been released.

The semitruck driver was not injured in the crash.
