THE LIVE SHOT — There are three undeniable truths about moms: They're the best; they are always wildly proud of their kids; they have terrible timing.

My mom is the most supportive person I've ever known. She showed up to every single one of my sporting events, even when I was sitting on the bench — which was a lot. She came to see me in a school play, even though I only had a role because I was a requirement for my drama class. And she even asks me to send her the link to all of my articles when they post, because a search engine is still kind of a lot for her.

See what I mean? Mom's are the best and they're otherworldly supportive. But their timing is also suspect, at best.

The best example here is whenever I visit my parents. We enjoy a few hours together, and then as the kids are losing their minds and desperately need to come off the grandma sugar high and get to bed, my mom remembers something she needs help with as we're literally walking out the door. The conversation usually goes like this:

Mom: "Oh, I forgot. Can you help me with a small something really quick?"

Me: "I guess so. What is it?"

Mom: "It should only take a second. I just need you to deconstruct the old shed in the backyard, drive the debris to the dump, and then lay new sod in that corner of the yard."

Me:

Mom: "Thanks. Should only take a second."

These are the reasons I love this video, and why none of it surprises me.

Myles Harris is a reporter for WSYX in Columbus, Ohio. The video shows him getting ready to shoot part of his story with a camera person when he spots his mom's car. I love it because Harris knows exactly what's about to happen. He accepts fate, let's mom go crazy and even lets her say "hi" to D'Angelo, who is running the camera.

Harris loves the support, I have no doubt. I can also see in his eyes that he knows all about mom-timing. Maybe he's moved a shed at 9 p.m. on a Sunday night, as well.

Love you, mom. And I'll always move that old, decrepit shed because you're the best.
