THE HAPPY HOME — Merry Christmas to one and all, and I hope you're each having an amazing holiday. It may not be the one you were hoping for as you celebrate with family and friends through a screen, but it's a day of joy and sharing none the less. In an effort to make what is hopefully already a wonderful day even a little brighter I have this video for you.
If this doesn't put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart then we need to have a serious conversation about your well-being. A nursing home staff wanted to do something to lift the spirits of their residents. Not always an easy task, but this group got creative and did the job convincingly.

So they gave out Nerf guns, put on antlers and reindeer costumes — and held a "deer hunt."
Just listen to their joy.
This is what we're here for!
The staff set up some Christmas trees, donned reindeer ears, handed the residents some Nerf guns and told them to go reindeer hunting. The residents are not only great shots, but they are loving it. Make sure you watch the video with your sound on because the laughter is a Christmas gift in and of itself. I also love that the employee in the purple is legitimately scared every time a gun pops and how the employee in gray is 100 percent committed.
Share some joy today whether it's through gift giving or letting people hunt you with Nerf guns.
