OGDEN — An auto-pedestrian collision Friday night in Ogden left one woman dead.

The crash happened at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and 26th Street about 9:42 p.m., Ogden police wrote on Facebook. A 2005 Ford F-150 was traveling west on 26th and turned left onto Washington.

A 56-year-old woman was crossing the street on the south side of 26th; she was struck as the truck turned, police said.

She was transported to McKay-Dee Hospital and died of her injuries there. The collision is under investigation by the Ogden City Traffic Bureau.
