WEST VALLEY CITY — One boy has been arrested in connection with the weekend shooting death of a man in West Valley.

But police weren't sure Monday if the 16-year-old arrested was the actual gunman.

About 6:10 p.m. Saturday, two groups met at Kings Pointe Park, 1330 W. Rothchild Drive (3665 South), to settle an undisclosed conflict, said West Valley police spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku.

At some point during the confrontation, Lewis Orlando Jensen, 18, was shot and killed.

The 16-year-old was arrested for investigation of rioting, Vainuku said. Police continued to look for at least one other person on Monday, but did not disclose any information about that individual.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call police at 801-840-4000.
