SOUTH SALT LAKE — A man was found dead in a car in South Salt Lake Monday afternoon, and police are treating the death as suspicious.

The body was found near 2610 S. 1100 West, according to South Salt Lake Police Executive Officer Gary Keller.

A business owner reported discovering the man’s body, Keller said. It appeared the body had been in the car for a while and the man had been living in the car, he said.

Keller was not sure exactly how long the body had been in the car. The business owner said the car had also been in the area for some time, Keller added.

There are no signs of foul play, but the death is still being considered suspicious, Keller said.

Keller did not have any further details about the death.
