SALT LAKE CITY — If you’ve got three days and you’re a Marvel Comics superfan, you’ll be able to watch all 22 Marvel Cinematic Universe films in a row leading up to the release of “Avengers: Endgame” later this month.

Megaplex Theaters at The District in South Jordan will be screening the marathon starting April 23.

All the movies will be screened in the order they were released. The event will start with “Iron Man” at 9 a.m. that day and will conclude with “Avengers: Endgame,” which will end shortly after 8 p.m. on April 25, according to a news release from Megaplex Theaters.

“This is the biggest movie marathon in Megaplex Theatres history,” Megaplex Theatres President Blake Andersen said in the release. “We’re pulling out all of the stops to offer this elite group of guests the ultimate Megaplex Theatres marathon experience.”

That includes just under 48 hours of Marvel screen time, including “Endgame,” which will clock in at over three hours on its own.

Unfortunately, tickets were nearly sold out as of noon Tuesday, according to the Megaplex website.

Ticket prices for the Megaplex marathon start at $99. If you want breakfast, lunch and dinner each day during the marathon, you will have to spend another $99, though, according to the release.

For the price of admission, marathon-goers also get a Marvel Marathon Comfort Kit, which includes an “exclusive event blanket” and other items that are designed to help people get through the marathon.

The theater chain also will be hosting "See It First" events for "Endgame" at its Sandy, Lehi, Vineyard and Ogden locations. Showings for the movie will start at 5 p.m. April 25, a few hours before general audiences will be able to see the film.

AMC Theaters also will be hosting a similar marathon nationwide, according to The Wrap.

Their version of the event will be 59 hours and will include all 22 movies, as well.

The theater chain’s site crashed Tuesday when people started buying tickets, though, according to The Wrap. It appeared to still be down as of Tuesday afternoon.

It’s not clear if any of the AMC Theaters locations in Utah will be hosting the marathon.
