PUMPKIN PATCH — It's pumpkin carving season and here's some inspiration — if you can live up to the challenge.
In this video, a sculptor creates a jack-o'-lantern that would fit perfectly into one of the spookiest haunted houses. The creation is a creepy, elaborate and impressive cyclops, complete with a moving eye.

It's one thing to carve a pumpkin, but it's a whole other thing to make that pumpkin feel like it's coming alive.
This sculptor definitely did that with his cyclops pumpkin (I still can't stop thinking about that moving eye).
Now, I'm not super great at carving pumpkins, but after watching the video, I figure most of us can step up our Halloween game at least a little. So now I'm issuing you all a challenge to do that with your jack-o'-lanterns, too.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
Start dreaming up your creative jack-o'-lantern ideas, call up your friends, head to the pumpkin patch and then throw the pumpkin carving party to end all pumpkin carving parties.
Or, if you really want, just carve a simple, lopsided face into your pumpkin, 'cause those are always cute and fun.
Either way, enjoy the video and send me the photos of your jack-o'-lanterns via our iWitness feature (also available on our app) and we'll feature them in a gallery here on KSL.com.
