WEST JORDAN — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a credit union Friday morning.

The robbery occurred just before 10 a.m. at the Mountain America Credit Union at 6761 S. Redwood Road, according to West Jordan police. A man entered the building and presented a note to a teller, demanding money. The note stated the man had a gun, although no firearm was displayed during the robbery, police said.

The man received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

Police described the robber as a white male between 25-35 years old. He is around 6 feet tall with a thin build. At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a gray jacket, black gloves and a gray hat with a blue visor.
