(KSL News) Two people are in critical condition after being hit by a truck in American Fork this afternoon.
Police say a man and woman were in the crosswalk near the intersection of Main and Center streets just after 1:30 p.m.
A 72-year-old man driving a truck made a left-hand turn and hit them.
One of the victims was trapped under the truck until a local towing company was able to lift the vehicle off of him.
Police say the driver just didn't see them until it was too late.
Police say all three people involved are not from the area.
