SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Campaign organizers say Hillary Rodham Clinton's 27-year-old daughter will make an appearance in Utah on Tuesday.

Clinton's Utah field director Caroline Cole said Chelsea Clinton will speak at student union ballrooms at the University of Utah and Weber State University.

Clinton is scheduled to appear for town hall-style campaign events at the U. at 1 p.m. and at Weber State at 5:30 p.m. Both events are open to the public.

Later she plans to make private visits to a senior citizen's center in Salt Lake City and a ticketed campaign event.

Hillary Rodham Clinton was routed by Barack Obama in the South Carolina presidential primary on Saturday. It gave Obama momentum going into the 19-state primary on Feb. 5 for Democratic National Convention delegates.

Utah's primaries also are set for Feb. 5.
