SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Forest Service has issued an avalanche warning this morning.
The warning has been issued for the Southern Utah mountains, which includes the Manti-Skyline Region.
The avalanche danger is high due to heavy snowfall and strong winds.
The Forest Service says natural and human triggered avalanches are both likely today.
Officials say people without good avalanche skills should avoid being on or underneath steep mountain slopes.
The warning does NOT include ski areas or highways where avalanche control is usually done.
