Mary Richards Reporting When the crowd cheers, the neighbors hear it. "It's very loud," says John Giesler who lives on 2nd Avenue just blocks from the stadium.

"You put up with it after so long because you're used to it, you know it's going to happen. You look, you see in the paper there's going to be a soccer game and well, you know there's going to be noise that night."

Giesler says the U of U football games aren't that loud anymore. The university studied the sound level and turned things down a notch. Now they want to study how loud Real Salt Lake's games can become. Some neighbors say they're too loud, others cope with it.
