WEST JORDAN -- The wife of a man being tried for murder says he could not have committed the crime because he was home, sick with food poisoning.
Tuesday, Bianca Pearman-Brooks testified her husband Eugene Wright was terribly sick on the morning of November 15, 2007. That is the day Wright is accused of shooting Kenneth Dolezar outside of a Sandy Village Inn.
When asked if she was sure of the date Pearman-Brooks responded yes, saying she remembered it clearly because her husband is "never sick."
