(KSL News) A Price businessman and inventor apparently died in a plane crash in Colorado. Mike Loveless left a Jefferson County, Colo., airport yesterday and was headed back to Utah.

When he didn't make a scheduled stop in Aspen, emergency crews were alerted.

A National Guard helicopter located the plane this afternoon east of Josephine Lake; that's near Vail. They've deemed it "unsurvivable."

Loveless was known for inventing a vacuum that cleans woodstoves and fireplaces.
