Ashley Hayes Reporting A home invasion in Midvale leads police to an affluent Sandy neighborhood. It started with a bloodied victim knocking on the door of a neighbor. It ended with the arrest of three suspects.
One of the victims went knocking on doors looking for help. He was bleeding so badly, police found him by following his blood trail down the street. He told police they could find one of his attackers here at this house in Sandy, that's where they arrested all three of them.

The suspects are Jason Jardine, Mica Loving and Mapa Taulanga. All three have violent criminal histories involving drugs, burglaries, and assault. They are now booked in jail for aggravated kidnapping and robbery.
Around 8:30 last night, a woman called 9-1-1 saying a man covered in blood was pounding on her door trying to get inside. When police arrived at her Midvale home, they saw blood on the door, front porch and fence south of her house.
They followed the trail of blood and found the man walking back to his house.

Sgt. John Salazar, Midvale Police Dept.: "He was assaulted in his home and he came from his home and ran into the neighborhood looking for help. He was yelling, 'Help me. Help me.' And we got involved at that point."
He told police three people, two men and a woman, forced their way into his home, robbed him, then beat both him and another woman, possibly his wife.

The victim recognized one of his attackers and gave the officers descriptions of the criminals, their car, and a possible area where they could be found.
Police went to a home at 9100 South La Grange Way in Sandy. Inside the garage, officers found a car similar to the one the victim described. The people inside the home refused to come out, so SWAT had to be called in.

After SWAT arrived, nine people came out of the house and were taken into custody for questioning. Officers found two guns. They arrested three people the victim positively identified. Those three all have criminal histories and are booked in jail for aggravated kidnapping and burglary.
Police say the victim knew one of the men arrested. We're not sure how he knew him.
