St. George police searching for armed robber

(KSL News) St. George police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Fazoli's restaurant and attacking an employee.

Police say two employees were closing up Saturday just before midnight when a man ran in waving a gun. He hit one of the employees in the head, knocked him to the ground, and then kicked him several times before dragging him across the floor demanding money.

Employees say they gave the man money, and he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a male in his 20s; about 5 feet, 7 inches tall; and weighing 140 pounds. He also had what police are describing as "a short scruff of facial hair."
