(KSL News) Most Utahns think the state is on the right track but they don't feel the same way about the nation.
A KSL-TV, Deseret Morning News, Dan Jones poll found 70 percent of Utahns believe our state is going in the right direction.

Jones says Utah's strong economy may fuel the local optimism.
But only 39 percent feel that same way about the nation as a whole.

The war in the Iraq and soaring gasoline prices may contribute to that view.
