(KSL News) Utah is known for its committed and talented workforce, and today several dozen men and women were singled out for their successes.
For the past six years, Utah Business Magazine has honored a certain group of young professionals they call "Forty under 40". The program recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their respective careers and to the state.
The 2008 group includes bankers, lawyers, entrepreneurs and other business professionals. "But it's really recognizing individuals under a banner of relative youth. It's individuals who have really made a difference in their organizations, whether it's a company or a government entity, but there's been a real measure of success achieved at an early age. But they are the future. They are our leaders of tomorrow," said Martin Lewis, publisher and editor-in-chief of Utah Business Magazine.

Those recognized today were nominated by their peers. Utah Business Magazine has recognized 240 people since the "Forty under 40" program began.
