The Iranian basketball team is in Utah today preparing for the Olympic Games.
To the Iranian team members, any political tensions going on don't matter. They're here to play basketball, and they want to play as many tough teams as they can before the start of the Olympics.
"To be competitive is our goal," said head coach Rajko Toroman.
Toroman says he's not sure how his team will compare to the NBA summer league teams they're going to play at the Rocky Mountain Revue, but he says this is the kind of competition that will help them improve.
The team's captain is pretty excited about Beijing. "[For] every athlete, it's like a dream to participate in the Olympic Games," he said.
It's been decades since Iran had a basketball team qualify for the Olympics.
