WEBER COUNTY -- Motorists in Weber County had quite a mess to deal with Saturday afternoon. A semi truck loaded with onions overturned, and the onions went everywhere.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers said the truck was heading south on Interstate 15. When the driver exited to get on eastbound Interstate 84, the trailer tipped over, scattering the onions in the right lane.
The accident happened on an overpass, and some of the onions fell to the street below. One vehicle was hit, causing minor damage.
The truck was hauling onions from Oregon to North Carolina.
