SALT LAKE CITY -- It looks like Utah Jazzman C.J. Miles will be out six to eight weeks.
Miles ruptured a thumb ligament during practice in London last week. After being surgically-repaired, his thumb is now in a hard cast for the next four weeks--which means it will be a month or more before he can even start rehab.
"I guess we're lucky because it happened during the preseason," Mehmet Okur said.
"I feel sorry for him because he was working hard in the summertime and during the preseason," said Andre Kirilenko. "It's kind of unfortunate, but it's part of the game."
The Jazz continue their preseason schedule Thursday at home against the Portland Trail Blazers. The game starts at 7 p.m. MDT.
