SALT LAKE CITY -- The Salt Lake International Airport saw an increase in travelers over the summer.
July was the high point of the season with a 5.87 percent increase from last year in the number of passengers.
June saw a 0.82 percent increase, and August numbers jumped by 3.85 percent.
The changes come after 14 months of steady declines. Airport officials say airlines' adjustments to flight schedules may be partly responsible for the increases.
