OREM -- A father and his two daughters were seriously injured Friday night in Orem when they were hit by a vehicle while they were in a crosswalk.

The family was crossing the road at 600 West and Center Street to attend a Mountain View High football game when they were hit.

The youngest girl, age 7, was flown to the hospital in extremely critical condition. Her sister, age 12 or 13, is in fair condition. The condition of the father is unknown at this time.

The 40-year-old driver who hit them says the sun was in his eyes and he didn't see them.
