GUNNISON -- A 3-year-old boy drowned at Yuba Reservoir.
The Sanpete County Sheriff's Office said Saturday that deputies were called to Yuba Reservoir about 8:45 p.m. Friday night.
Adan Maximus Garcia had already been pulled from the water by the time emergency crews arrived. Paramedics attempted CPR and Garcia was rushed by ambulance to Gunnison Valley Hospital.
He was later pronounced dead, Sanpete County Sheriff Kevin Holman said in a statement sent to KSL NewsRadio.
Holman said the death appears to be accidental.
