Read KSL's Take here PROVO -- While BYU basketball coach Dave Rose continues to wrestle with his just-diagnosed pancreatic cancer and the rigorous treatment plan he'll have, his top assistant Dave Rice is handling the day-to-day running of the program. He will have a chance to get on some sort of a treatment schedule soon. And again, we don't exactly know yet what that entails, but he was as positive about his future and being the basketball coach at BYU as I have ever seen him," Rice said.
