LOGAN -- A man died Tuesday from injuries he sustained in a horrific accident that happened Sunday morning in Cache County.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers say the car he was riding in was traveling on state Route 89 when it drifted off the road and slammed into a telephone pole and tree.
A total of four people were in the car. All were transported to area hospitals, but 20-year-old Ryan Leishman from Smithfield did not survive his injuries.
The driver and other passengers are expected to recover. Authorities say they are looking into the possibility of driver impairment.
