1 killed in Ogden mobile home fire

OGDEN — One person died early Tuesday after being pulled from a mobile home fire in Ogden.

Just before 5:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to 1065 Wall Ave. for a fire in the mobile home community. Crews arrived and found smoke and flames coming from a home and were told a person was inside, according to the Ogden Fire Department.

Crews searched the residence and were able to get the person out of the structure. The person was taken to the hospital but succumbed to their injuries shortly after arriving, fire officials said. No information about the victim has been released.

In total, 26 firefighters helped contain the blaze, which caused an estimated $100,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
