If you didn't start July with a bang, it's not too late. We now have our KSL Events page as your go-to planner for things to do in Utah this summer. Fill your calendar with festivals, firework shows, camps and other activities sure to keep the kiddos (and adults) entertained.

Steel Days

American Fork Steel Days will be celebrating 80 years this July. Enjoy the famous car show with groovy vintage vehicles and then watch the drone show for a modern twist on travel. The fun doesn't stop — join the Mario Kart Tournament, Grand Parade, fireworks show or Kids Splash Night.

Cops and Dogs

July reminds us of red, white and blue. And yellow? Don't forget the mustard at Cops & Dogs on July 16! Enjoy a free hot dog grilled by the Syracuse Police Department at the Syracuse Splash Pad. Animal Care of Davis County will also have actual dogs available for adoption!

Lindquist Pops Concert and Fireworks

Views, tunes and booms. The Lindquist Family Symphony and Pops Concert in Ogden dazzles year after year. On July 13, listen to Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" accompanied by 16 cannons and the Wasatch Mountains as a backdrop. You'll also get to see one of the largest fireworks shows in Utah.

Mapleton Pioneer Days

It wouldn't be a Utah event without some pioneer heritage in the mix. Mapleton Pioneer Days has historic programs, a large fireworks show, parade, 5K and even a pickleball tournament.

St. George Concert in the Park

As the sun settles and the heat dwindles, head to the St. George Concert in the Park Series for some free tunes throughout the summer. The whole family can groove to blues and rock and roll, dance to some country or enjoy throwbacks from the '90s.

Summer camps in Draper

We know it's easy to go stir crazy with extra free time, especially when the kids need to get their wiggles out. AMYS Summer Camps in Draper are the perfect solution with martial arts, tumbling, dance and more.

Summer matinees

Need a way to beat the heat? Take the kids to the Scera Summer Matinee Series in Orem. There are films for youngsters, such as "Dragonkeeper" and "Paddington," and movies for older kids, such as "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Cheaper by the Dozen."

Bird of Prey Show

Get into nature up Little Cottonwood Canyon for the Bird of Prey Show at Alta on July 15. Raptor ambassadors will share their expertise and provide education about the important role of birds of prey in Utah.
