OGDEN – Some residents in Weber County were evacuated after a new, human-caused fire started in Ogden Canyon.
According to a post on X by Utah Fire Info, the fire was located at the mouth of Ogden Canyon and was approximately 10 acres on Sunday morning. The fire was later renamed the 9th Street Fire and burned down to approximately 3 acres.
Fire officials said one structure sustained major damage, and 20 residents had been evacuated.

The fire was at 85% containment, according to Utah Fire Info.
