EUREKA, Juab County — A man was injured in a paragliding accident near Sand Mountain in Juab County Saturday.

Juab County Sheriff's Office said deputies were dispatched to the Sand Mountain area near the Little Sahara Recreation Area about 5:15 p.m. for a paragliding accident. Deputies discovered a 36-year-old man who was injured from falling about 25 feet.

The sheriff's office said the man was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital, but authorities did not know his condition as of Monday evening. Details on what led to the accident were not immediately available.
